LEGOFIT webinar on BIM Models and Digital Twins – Register now
LEGOFIT is pleased to invite you to its upcoming webinar on “BIM Models and Digital Twins”, taking place on 26 March 2026 from 13:00 to 14:00 CET.
This online session will bring together LEGOFIT and its sister projects, TIPS4PED and ExPEDite, to explore how Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital twin technologies are being applied in the development of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs).
The webinar aims to enhance participants’ understanding of BIM models and digital twins through practical insights and real project experiences. Representatives from both projects will present their approaches, methodologies, and key learnings:
- Benedetta Barchi (RINA) will present the work of TIPS4PED, focusing on scalable digital solutions and a Digital Twin-based platform designed to support municipalities in decision-making and improve the environmental and economic performance of PEDs.
- Kārlis Baltputnis (RIGA) will introduce ExPEDite’s innovative digital twin, enabling real-time monitoring, visualization, and optimisation of district-level energy systems.
Participants will gain insights into modelling tools, stakeholder engagement strategies, and practical challenges and successes in implementing digital solutions for sustainable urban energy systems, as reflected in the session agenda.
